We offer various services that can be tailored to reflect your needs – from a standard changeover service to a full all year round management service.

During a visit with you to your property, we will fully agree which exact services you require, however this can be adapted and updated at any point should the need arise.

We also offer a property maintenance service and will fix any minor or major repairs where possible. We will contact you immediately, and agree a course of action if there are any issues to be dealt with, ensuring a trouble free stay for your guests.

Additional cottage services available:

  • In addition to the standard holiday turnaround services, you may require additional support from time to time, there is no contract for these services and we can provide as and when you require.

  • Tourist Information Pack Refills - update your cottage with holiday information & local events brochures. Guest liaison, meet and greet service

  • Log and Kindling Starter Packs

  • Inventory Services

  • Special requests, Christmas, New Year, and Valentine's Day welcome packs/flowers/balloons

  • Gardening & window cleaning organized and managed.

  • Support and ensure oil tanks are filled, central heating boiler servicing, gas appliances and relevant safety certificates are kept up to date

  • All new legislation health and safety & trading standards are met and kept up to date and implemented. We will create a check list for each cottage to include yearly PAT testing and fire risk assessments.

  • Organise a house book for the cottage, containing specific information about the cottage and surrounding area. This will also include various safety checks made throughout the year of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors.

  • Out of season and vacant weeks cottage checks to ensure no damage or unforeseen problems such as water ingress or rodents. This service also helps the owners insurance liabilities.

Maintenance

First impressions are important, as a property owner of a holiday property it is essential that any minor or major repairs are fixed promptly and to the highest standard. Yorkshire Cottage Services offers a full maintenance and gardening service designed to remove the day to day issues of property management from your mind.

If you have any problems with your cottage during the season we can provide access and arrange repairs as and when needed, we have qualified gas engineers, electricians and plumbers at hand if their services are required and most day to day repairs can carried out by our in house maintenance team. 

Any quotes would always be pre approved by the customer before work was carried out and all work will be inspected upon completion.

As part of our turnaround service we will make note of any issues that may need attention and inform you, however should anything occur that needs immediate attention you can be assured that we are available to attend to any issues as required.

  • Routine and emergency maintenance works

  • New or replacement furniture or fittings can be fitted or supplied and fitted. We can even build and fit any flat pack furniture and arrange to receive any deliveries on your behalf.

  • Project managing any refurbishment/redecoration that the cottage owner requires

  • Builders Clean - we can prepare your property for any planned trade work, and clean up thoroughly to restore your property so that it is ready to be let again after the work has been completed.

  • Flat pack furniture assembly

  • General maintenance, repair works

  • We always use the appropriate trades when necessary; Corgi/gas/electrical.
